How to find us
Getting to the Lido is easy
The Lido swimming area lies about 2 km from the centre of Mariánské Lázně, in the village of Hamrníky.
The only tricky spot is the junction in Hamrníky, where you might miss the signpost reading Lido (it is roughly in the middle of the village). Turn off, drive through the little wood and leave your vehicle in the free car park — or carry on about another 100 m to the main gate.
Approach routes
From Cheb / Velká Hleďsebe via Drmoul
If you are coming from Cheb or via Velká Hleďsebe, at the start of the village of Drmoul turn left at the first junction towards Mariánské Lázně. Continue to the village of Hamrníky and there, roughly in the middle, turn right following the signpost to the Lido swimming area.
From Plzeň
Coming from Plzeň, at the end of the village of Drmoul turn right and continue to the village of Hamrníky, where, roughly in the middle, you turn right again.
From Plzeň via Skláře
You arrive along Plzeňská street, which ends at a junction. Here turn left and continue for about 200 m towards the railway station. Just before a right-hand bend turn left, cross the tracks and keep going straight on into Hamrníky, where, roughly in the middle, you turn left.
A walk around the grounds
You can comfortably walk all the way around the grounds — about 1.4 km, roughly an 18-minute stroll.

And for our most far-flung visitorsFor travellers from outer space
The Lido swimming area is located on the third planet from the Sun, which is the central point (the "star of our planetary system") of the Solar System, set in one of the local spiral arms of our Galaxy. The arm is named after the constellation Orion. On your way to us you must avoid the galactic core and rather fly around it, because almost exactly at the core sits a complex of radio-emitting sources called Sagittarius A, which includes the intense radio source Sagittarius A*, all but coinciding with the supermassive black hole at the centre of the galaxy. The coordinates of the core of the Milky Way are: RA 17h 45m 40.04s, declination −29° 00′ 28.1″ (J2000). If you are reading this text, however, you are already within range of Earth's internet signal and have completed the journey successfully.
Notice for extraterrestrial guests
We would like to point out a few local customs to you, travellers from outer space: at the swimming area it is customary to wear swimwear. If you feel shy in front of Earthlings, we will arrange an undisturbed spot for you within the Lido grounds, where you can savour the magical setting of the surrounding nature. And if you are hungry, please do not eat the other guests at the swimming area — instead, take your needs up with the staff, who will gladly help you. Thank you for your understanding.
